How We Score
Nobody else in this space publishes their methodology. Here's ours — the Scorecard weighting, the Fact Log's evidence tiers, and what we do and don't get paid for.
The Fact Log
Every claim starts as a dated, sourced row — FACT, ESTIMATE, RATING, or ASSESSMENT — before it becomes a sentence in a guide.
Evidence tiers
Confidence is graded per fact, not assumed for the whole guide — a rent estimate and a visa rule don't carry the same certainty.
The Scorecard
Six topics — cost, healthcare, visa pathway, connectivity & work, safety, climate — weighted by what you tell us matters, not by an age bracket.
Weighting, in plain terms
The six topics never change. What changes is the weight each one carries in your total score, based on where you said you are in the journey.
We don't take payment from destinations, developers, or relocation services.
Where we do earn a referral fee — insurance, tax prep, real estate — the rate is published on the resource itself, not buried in a terms page.
